Journal 26 - SNOW

Some may know snow is just a mere light form of precipitation falling from the atmosphere. Others may know it as a glorious sign that Christmas is coming. But to me snow means some intense down hill sledding, figure skating, and snowmen / snow angels.I can not wait to take somebody either snow or frost sledding. We will have quite a bit of fun. Then ice skating is really fun as well. The whole concept of snow just brings me a warm feeling. The thought of huddling around a fire and drinking hot chocolate is just heart warming. I also love playing in the snow. Last year, my foreign exchange student Bene and I had a snow ball throwing contest. We would make snow balls then see who could hit the target first. It stopped when I hit the street light bye my house and it fell to the ground and exploded into millions of fragments. It also makes me think of snow basketball games in my driveway with Mark my brother, Erin my sister, Cody my sister's fiance, Bene, and my father. We would play basketball and it would be just everyone slipping all over the place and it was just so fun. I miss those times from last year. One thing that I am looking forward to something of which I cannot say on the blog because of the adult content. Let us just say it is the name of a laundry detergent. Some people say they do not like the winter season and the idea of snow. Some people think it is cold and depressing. But I feel as if winter is bringing Spring which means new life. Winter is the best season in the world and I am really looking forward to the season itself. I love snow! Then here is Christmas that the snow brings and there are carols and family coming together. Winter is just the best season ever.
